Ingredients

  • 12 ouncesfresh strawberries (hulled and quartered)
  • 1 poundseedless watermelon (scooped with a melon baller or cut in shapes or cubes)
  • 1/2 cuploosely packed basil or mint leaves (chiffonade)
  • 1 tablespoonfresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoonsfinely grated ginger root
  • Maldon sea salt

Instructions

    Combine the strawberries, watermelon, and basil in a large bowl.

    Whisk the lemon juice and ginger root together in a small bowl. Toss with the fruit. Serve topped with a sprinkle of sea salt.
