What skill level do I need?
All skill levels are welcome! Classes are designed for home cooks who want to learn new techniques. Chef Laura provides guidance for beginners while keeping things interesting for experienced cooks.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! You'll have the option to note any dietary restrictions when you book. We can accommodate most allergies and preferences with advance notice.
What is your in-person class cancellation policy?
You may cancel up to 72 hours before the class start time for a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours of the class are not eligible for a refund. Classes run rain or shine — we do not cancel, reschedule, or issue refunds due to weather under any circumstances. Gift purchases are transferable to another person but are not refundable.
Can I buy a class as a gift?
Absolutely! When booking, you can choose to purchase the class as a gift. The recipient will receive an email with their booking details. Gift purchases are transferable — if the original recipient can't attend, the booking can be transferred to another person. Please contact us so we can update the name in our system. Please note that gift purchases are not refundable.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held at Chef Laura's kitchen studio in Minneapolis. The exact address will be sent in your confirmation email after booking.
What is the cancellation policy for private events?
Private group bookings are non-refundable within 2 weeks of the event. For cancellations made more than 2 weeks before your event date, a 50% refund will be issued. If we are unable to honor your booking for any reason, we will make every effort to reschedule. If no suitable date can be found, a full refund will be issued. To inquire about a private event, please contact us.
