
Vegan Cashew Slicing Cheese
I love the flavor of this vegan cheese. You can leave some of the cashews chunky for texture if you like.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cupraw cashews
- 1/4 cupnutritional yeast
- 1 Tbsp.lemon juice
- 1 tsp.Dijon
- 1 tsp.kosher salt
- 2 tsp.agar powder
- 1 tsp.garlic powder
- 1/2 cupwater

Soak cashews in large bowl of water. Drain, and return to bowl. Add nutritional yeast, lemon juice, mustard, salt, and garlic powder to bowl; set aside.

Whisk the agar and garlic powder into the water in a saucepan, and bring to a boil over medium heat. Simmer 2 to , or until liquid thickens and agar dissolves, whisking constantly.

Add agar mixture to cashew mixture. Blend with immersion blender or in a blender until smooth. Pour into a small cheese mold or loaf pan. Chill .
