Most pizza you eat — even at good restaurants — is built on shortcuts. Store-bought dough, canned sauce, pre-shredded cheese. There's nothing wrong with a quick weeknight pizza, but once you've made the real thing from scratch, you'll understand why Neapolitan pizza has been a protected tradition in Italy for centuries.
In Chef Laura's pizza class, you start with the dough. You'll learn how to mix, knead, and proof a proper pizza dough that develops real flavor and the right amount of chew. Then you'll make sauce from San Marzano tomatoes — simple, fresh, and bright. And finally, you'll learn topping techniques that make all the difference: how much is too much, when to add fresh ingredients, and how to get that beautiful charred edge.
By the end of the evening, you'll have made multiple pizzas, eaten your fill, and walked away with the skills to make incredible pizza at home with nothing more than a regular oven and a hot baking surface.
