Cinnamon Blueberry IceDream

This recipe does not have added sugar. The cinnamon enhances the natural sweetness of the bananas making this a satisfying healthy treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cupfresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspooncinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoonvanilla extract
  • 3/4 cupfrozen blueberries

Instructions

    Slice the bananas and place them on a parchment-covered baking sheet. Freeze for at least 30 minutes.

    Put the banana slices, lemon juice, cinnamon, and vanilla into a food processor bowl fitted with a metal blade and process until smooth. Remove to a bowl.

    Stir in the frozen blueberries. Put into an airtight container and freeze for at least 1 hour before serving. If the mixture is completely frozen, let it stand at room temperature for 10 tp 15 minutes before scooping.
