Time Required: 2 to 4 hours – plus shopping and shopping time
Time-frame: 1 to 2 days over 2 weeks
In this mission, you will:
- Print your dossier. We suggest you pick only the pages you will use and print them in black and white.
- Make a list of all of your spices on your My Spice List in your workbook.
- Decide to keep or toss any spices that are old – you can check recommended storage times in the Spice Library.
- Check what spices you need to buy and add them to your Spice Buy List in your dossier.
- Add new spices you’d like to try to your Spice Buy List.
- Decide if you want new storage jars or a new system of storage – see the links below for ideas and make a Supplies List in your dossier.
- Shop for new spices (see online sources below). If you are in the Twin Cities area, aside from your regular grocery store and Penzy’s, Holy Land carries a wide variety of traditional and Mid-Eastern spices.
- Arrange your new spice cabinet (consider alphabetizing it).
- Take pictures of your new spice cabinet or drawer.
- Report the results of your mission before or on March 31st, 2023.
