Maple Cayenne Bacon

Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 generous pinch cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Heat skillet to medium-high. Cook bacon in batches, turning as necessary, until crisp. Drain bacon on paper towels. Pour bacon fat out of the pan.
- Return skillet to stove and heat to medium. Return bacon to the pan. Add maple syrup and cayenne. Toss to coat and cook until syrup is almost gone and bacon is well coated. Remove to a plate. Cool slightly before serving.
